Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Systems Administrator/Engineer to join our Washington Navy Yard team. You will install, configure, and maintain systems hardware and software and ensure DISA compliance in collaboration with the Information Assurance team.

The role requires a Top Secret clearance and hands-on experience with Windows environments and VMware virtualization. You will work with a team to evaluate new technologies, manage system documentation, and troubleshoot faults while supporting multiple

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years of prior experience. Additional years of experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
• Active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance.
• Current Security+ or CISSP certification and current Server+ or equivalent certification and operating system certification or training.
• Possess network certifications and training required for DoD 8570.01M IAT-II compliance.
• Familiar with Windows; Linux environments a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and administer accounts and maintain system documentation.
• Install, configure, and maintain systems hardware and software and related infrastructures.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance networked systems.
• Analyze system faults, troubleshoot, and run diagnostics on operating systems and hardware.
• Provide system requirements development, plan, design, and evaluate networked system components.
• Set up and maintain multiple computer systems and coordinate installation and development strategies.
