Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) seeks an IT Engineer to support a Federal Intelligence Agency contract. The role includes Tier II administration across Windows and Linux environments on a large enterprise scale, with emphasis on AD, DNS, DHCP and encryption standards.

Candidate must have TS/SCI with Polygraph and DoD 8570 CE training within six months of hire, plus experience across ServiceNow tickets and ITIL practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical discipline.
• 5+ years of related systems administration experience.
• DoD 8570 CE Training within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier II support for multiple large Enterprise environments.
• Troubleshoot Windows and Linux workstation/applications.
• Identify and resolve incidents with short-term workarounds and long-term solutions.
• Provide remote end-user support with distributed teams.
• Communicate effectively with multiple teams in various environments.
