Job summary
Vantor Inc. seeks a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join our OpenShift-based private cloud operations. You will implement Infrastructure as Code tooling, maintain automated pipelines with Argo CD and GitLab, and Harden platforms for sensitive national-security workloads.
Work is SCIF-based up to 90% with sites in Herndon, VA; Westminster, CO; or St. Louis, MO. A TS/SCI clearance is required (CI poly preferred).
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen with active TS/SCI clearance (willing to obtain CI poly).
- Bachelors in a technical field with 8 years of relevant experience; degree can be waived with more experience.
- Strong DevSecOps experience and Linux expertise.
- Experience deploying in Kubernetes environments, preferably OpenShift.
- Open source deployments and maintenance experience.
- Able to work with a geographically distributed team and SCIF up to 90% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Leverage OpenShift and Kubernetes to configure, monitor, and maintain private cloud
- Create and maintain IaC tools (Ansible, Chef, etc.) for environment provisioning
- Build and sustain automated DevSecOps pipelines with Argo CD and GitLab
- Monitor and troubleshoot across stack from bare metal to apps on OpenShift
- Support ATO requirements through security controls, patching, docs, and remediations
- Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary SAFe teams
