Job summary

Vantor is seeking a DevOps Engineer in Herndon, VA to join our operations, software, and analytics team. This role focuses on on-prem and cloud infrastructure managed with Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, and automated pipelines.

Candidates must be a U.S. citizen with an active TS/SCI and CI poly, plus a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in a technical DevOps role. You will work in a SCIF environment with a distributed team, contributing to mission-critical solutions.

Qualifications

U.S. Citizen with active TS/SCI clearance and CI poly.
Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in a technical support or DevOps role.
Experience with open-source deployments and Linux systems.
Ability to work with geographically distributed teams and in a SCIF environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Configure, monitor, and maintain private cloud environments using Kubernetes.
Create and maintain IaC scripts with Terraform and Helm.
Develop automated DevOps pipelines with GitLab, ArgoCD, SonarQube, ArgoWorkflows, MLFlow, and related tools.
Oversee and ensure compliance to ATO accreditation needs through patching and documentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements.
