Job summary
Vantor in Herndon, VA is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join our OpenShift/Kubernetes operations team. You will implement Infrastructure as Code, automate pipelines, and strengthen security across private cloud environments in support of national security missions.
The role requires TS/SCI clearance, a technical degree, and deep Linux experience. You’ll collaborate with distributed teams and support ATO processes while delivering reliable, scalable DevSecOps solutions for intelligence
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with active TS/SCI clearance (CI poly possible).
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 8 years of relevant experience.
- Strong Linux experience and DevSecOps expertise.
- Experience deploying apps to Kubernetes/OpenShift.
- Open-source deployments and custom applications experience.
- Able to work with a geographically distributed team.
- Ability to work in a SCIF up to 90% of the time in Herndon, VA; Westminster, CO; or St. Louis, MO.
Responsibilities
- Configure, monitor, and maintain private cloud with OpenShift/Kubernetes.
- Create and maintain IaC tools (Ansible, Chef or similar).
- Create and maintain automated DevSecOps pipelines (Argo CD and GitLab).
- Monitor and troubleshoot across the technology stack from bare metal to apps.
- Support ATO requirements through security control implementation, documentation, and remediation of findings.
- Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
