Job summary

Vantor is seeking a senior Platform Engineer to join a platform team supporting multi-site OpenShift and Kubernetes workloads. You will operate and improve platform reliability, lifecycle management, automation, security, and recovery capabilities in collaboration with storage, network, security, and development teams.

The role requires experience with Red Hat OpenShift, CI/CD pipelines, and IaC, and involves working in a SCIF environment with after‑hours/on‑site support as needed for mission

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain.
• 8+ years in platform engineering, systems administration, DevOps, or related field.
• Production experience operating Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling and automation.
• Ability to work with geographically distributed teams and in SCIF environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters across on‑premise and hybrid cloud environments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support containerized application delivery.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Monitor platform performance, availability, and security; respond to incidents.
• Develop and maintain platform tooling, automation, and self‑service capabilities.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to improve usability and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with security and governance standards.
• Communicate with SAFe Agile teams and articulate technical concepts clearly.
