Job summary

Quevera seeks an IT Field Support Specialist to deliver Tier 2/3 support, hardware deployment, and infrastructure maintenance for mission-critical programs in Annapolis Junction and Columbia, Maryland.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years IT support experience, DoD 8570 certification, and a preference for Security+. You will work with vendors, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure reliable IT services and security standards.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required.
• DoD 8570 certification is required.
• Security+ certification is preferred.
• 1–2 years of IT support experience.
• Experience installing and supporting Windows OS, applications, patches.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for workstations, servers, printers, and teleconferencing equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair, test, and maintain enterprise hardware for high availability.
• Conduct site surveys and develop installation schedules for hardware deployments.
• Create technical documentation and configuration diagrams for installations.
• Install, configure, and support computer hardware, peripherals, and cabling.
• Train end users on proper use and maintenance of hardware.
• Use ticketing systems to document incidents and track work; provide remote and onsite support.
