Job summary

Quevera is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer in Maryland to support information assurance programs and security operations. The role requires a current TS/SCI with Poly clearance and DoD 8570 IASAE Level I compliance, with CASP+ CE, CISSP (or Associate), CSSLP credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• Seven (7) years as an ISSE on programs of similar scope and complexity.
• DoD 8570 compliance with IASAE Level I is required.
• CASP+ CE, CISSP (or Associate), CSSLP listed as preferred qualifications.
• Four (4) years ISSE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for a program, organization, system, or enclave’s information assurance program
• Provide security guidance to system developers, administrators, and owners
• Assess security impact of changes to the system
• Maintain security documentation such as SSPs
• Conduct security assessments in support of system authorization
• Support AO/DAO, SCA, and ISSM on A&A duties to obtain/maintain ATOs
• Daily review of and respond to security-related tickets
• Communicate system status and compliance using COTS/GOTS tools
