Job summary

Quevera, LLC. seeks a Senior Storage & Backup Engineer in Laurel, MD to monitor and manage enterprise backup systems, support backup appliances and storage arrays, and troubleshoot SAN issues. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph and Security+ CE or higher certification.

Lead efforts with customers and the ISSO to support backup operations, vulnerability patching, SSP reauthorization, and after-hours on-call support."

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of experience as a System Administrator/Storage Administrator.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• Security+ CE or higher certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage backup systems (NetBackup, Cohesity, Commvault, Rubrik).
• Add new servers/VMs to backups and troubleshoot issues.
• Configure new backup solutions when purchased.
• Troubleshoot backup appliances (NetBackup, Cohesity, Rubrik).
• Troubleshoot storage arrays (Oracle ZFS, NetApp, VAST, IBM).
• Monitor and resolve SAN issues with CLI and zoning.
• Work with ISSO on patches and SSP reauthorization.
• Participate in on-call rotation.
