Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a data center technician to ensure electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems operate at peak efficiency. You will perform preventative maintenance, respond to incidents, and coordinate with on-site teams and vendors.

Candidates should have a high school diploma with 6+ years in related fields, and the ability to obtain TS/SCI with polygraph clearance. Hazards include working at heights and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with minimum 6+ years of experience with electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance.
• Journeyman Electrician or Journeyman HVAC license or equivalent would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment in the data center operates at peak efficiency.
• Perform planned maintenance, daily corrective work, and emergency response as needed.
• Serve as a technical resource reporting to a program manager and coordinate with OEO and vendors.
• Maintain facility operations as the primary point of contact for the data center.
• Keep maintenance records to comply with city, state, and EPA regulations.
