Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a qualified Facilities Technician to maintain critical data center systems and supporting electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance, respond to incidents, and coordinate with OEO and vendors on site.

This role requires U.S. citizenship with Top-Secret SCI with Poly clearance preferred, and the ability to work two 12-hour night shifts; candidates with Master/Journeyman licensing are favored.

Qualifications

• Requires 4+ years of relevant facilities/electrical maintenance experience with HS diploma or GED.
• Master or Journeyman level electrical certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems to ensure 99.999% uptime for critical data center equipment.
• Respond to emergencies and provide timely repairs and modifications to electronic/electrical units.
• Observe safety guidelines, apply lockout/tagout, and use appropriate test equipment for diagnostics.
• Create and maintain CMMS logs and prepare reliability reports.
• Coordinate with OEO and vendors; supervise junior technicians and contractors as needed.
