Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a skilled facilities technician to maintain electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems in a mission-critical data center. The role reports to a program manager and interfaces with Onsite Engineering Operations and vendors to ensure uptime and safety.

This position requires a Top-Secret/Sci clearance with poly or the ability to obtain it, and involves two 12-hour night shifts. Strong documentation, CMMS usage, and adherence to MOPs are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience with a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret SCI with Poly clearance.
• Licensed or Certified by a national/state certification program at the Master or Journeyman level, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems to ensure uptime.
• Coordinate with program managers, OEO, and contractors during maintenance and emergencies.
• Lead junior technicians and oversee contractors' electrical duties.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning electronic units and control circuits.
• Document activities in CMMS and collect reliability data for reports.
