Job summary

Leidos has an exciting opening for a TS/SCI cleared DevOps Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy a state-of-the-art tech stack for the D3P modernization program in Bethesda, MD. Most work onsite with flexible scheduling; some tasks may be performed remotely.

You will work with a multi-disciplinary team to deploy and maintain a containerized microservices architecture, emphasizing DevOps culture, cross-functional collaboration, and rapid, secure deployments.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Strong Linux and Kubernetes experience.
• DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II+ certifications (CCNA Security, CySA+, Security+ CE, SSCP, CISSP, etc.).
• GitLab CI/CD pipeline development and Privileged User Account certification per DoD 8570 policy.
• Experience with container orchestration, Kubernetes, and related tools (Helm, ArgoCD).
• Experience with Kubernetes monitoring (Prometheus/Grafana) and Elasticsearch stack.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, triage and maintain a production big data pipeline using Kubernetes, Elasticsearch backend, and Kafka messaging.
• Enhance and maintain CI/CD and DevOps scripts, including AI-integrated failure analysis for security and compliance.
• Design, develop, and support scalable, redundant infrastructure across physical and virtual environments.
• Configure Kubernetes deployments using Helm, YAML, and ArgoCD.
• Collaborate with System Engineers to design solutions for new features and requirements.
• Provide technical input to systems engineering docs and diagrams/models with Architect team.
• Participate in Agile release planning and bug triage sessions.
• Develop PaaS solutions for hybrid deployments and secure multi-tenant GPU sharing in Kubernetes environments.
