Job summary

Leidos is building a new Agile development team in Washington, DC to deliver secure DoD‑level IT modernization. You will architect and deploy CI/CD pipelines, integrate Kafka/Elastic on AWS, and enforce STIG compliance while collaborating with distributed teams.

The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance, Security+ or higher, and strong Agile and DevOps experience with Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and Bitbucket.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required for consideration.
• Willingness to complete and maintain customer suitability screenings.
• Current Security+ or higher/equivalent certification.
• Experience developing software in an Agile environment and quickly learning new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Artifactory, Kubernetes (OpenShift), Docker, Ansible, and Bitbucket.
• Deploy, configure, test, troubleshoot, and maintain Kafka and Elastic clusters in AWS cloud.
• Configure applications to integrate network data into Elastic (ELK) in AWS.
• Ensure DoD STIG compliance in deployments and configurations.
• Build centralized dashboards and observability to monitor health, performance, and security across environments.
• Implement monitoring, alerts, and automation to improve reliability and incident response.
