Job summary

Venatôre is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide onsite and remote Tier 1/2 IT support for USCENTCOM programs in Tampa, FL. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance and DoD 8140/8570 certifications.

You will support Windows, Linux, and virtualization environments, assist with lifecycle management, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable IT service delivery. The position emphasizes operational readiness, 24/7 support requirements where applicable, and strong

Qualifications

3+ years of desktop support, IT operations or related technical support.
Active TS/SCI clearance required.
DoD 8140 or DoD 8570 certification required.
Experience providing Tier 1/2 support in enterprise IT environments.
Proficiency with Windows, Linux and virtualization environments.
Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
Ability to document configurations, troubleshooting steps, and procedures.
Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Provide onsite and remote Tier 1 and 2 technical support for end-user devices and networks.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and application issues across NIPRNet, SIPRNet and Coalition networks.
Maintain end-user computing environments and support equipment lifecycle management.
Collaborate with software developers, system admins and technical teams for system integration and testing.
Document integration processes and procedures and provide deployment support.
