Ngpartners seeks a senior DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced development team on-site in San Antonio, TX. The role emphasizes Kubernetes and container orchestration, CI/CD, automation, and cloud infrastructure in AWS, with a focus on reliability and scalability.

The ideal candidate will mentor engineers, implement infrastructure as code with Terraform and Ansible, and script in Python or Bash while supporting on-site customer work. Strong Linux skills and AGILE experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 9+ years DevOps or software development experience with related degree
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration
• Proficient in AWS services (EKS, EC2, EBS, S3, Lambda) and deployment of infrastructure
• Experience with Terraform and Ansible for configuration management
• Programming in Python, Bash, or Go
• Familiarity with Git, Flux, and deployment tools
• Comfortable in a terminal-based environment
• Strong Linux system administration and troubleshooting skills
• AGILE software development experience and leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Implement infrastructure and automate deployment processes
• Ensure monitoring, reliability and scalability of services
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications into infrastructure
• Lead and mentor engineering teams and provide guidance
• Support on-site customer work in San Antonio, TX 5 days a week
