Ngpartners is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join a fast-paced team supporting DoD and federal projects. You will implement and manage Kubernetes-based infrastructure, automate deployments, and ensure reliability across AWS and edge environments.

The role requires strong Linux administration, scripting (Python/Bash), and experience with Terraform and Ansible. Onsite work in San Antonio, TX is expected, with Top Secret/SCI eligibility and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 9+ years in DevOps or software development, or 7+ years with a related Master’s degree.
• Strong Kubernetes knowledge and AWS services (EKS, EC2, S3, Lambda).
• Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, and configuration management.
• Experience deploying and managing cloud and edge infrastructure.
• Programming in Python, Bash, or Go; comfortable in terminal environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure in AWS and on-prem/edge setups.
• Automate deployment processes and ensure reliability and scalability.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters and related cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with developers to integrate applications into infrastructure.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve production systems; mentor teammates.
