Job summary

Enlighten is seeking a highly motivated DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced development team in San Antonio, TX. The ideal candidate will have strong Kubernetes and Container Orchestration experience, configuration management with Terraform and Ansible, CI/CD automation, and AWS expertise with Linux systems administration.

A background in big data solutions is a plus. This role requires a current Top Secret/SCI clearance and 9+ years in DevOps or software development.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of DevOps engineering or software development experience with related degree or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms
• Strong knowledge of AWS services (EKS, EC2, EBS, S3, Lambda) and their deployment/management
• Proficient with Terraform and Ansible for configuration management
• Experience with Python, Bash, or Go for automation
• Experience with Git, Flux, and CI/CD tooling
• Clearance: Top Secret/SCI or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities

• Support development and deployment of cloud infrastructure in AWS, especially EKS
• Support on-premise/edge infra deployment
• Automate deployment processes for reliability and scalability
• Manage and maintain Kubernetes containers and cloud infrastructure on AWS
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications into infrastructure
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems; resolve issues
• Continuously improve processes and tooling for high availability and performance
• Stay current with new technologies and industry trends
• Provide mentorship and team guidance as a senior contributor
• Other duties as assigned
