Job summary

Erias Ventures seeks a highly experienced DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced team onsite in San Antonio, TX. You will implement scalable Kubernetes-based infrastructure, manage AWS services, and automate deployment processes across cloud and edge environments.

The role requires TS/SCI eligibility, strong scripting in Python/Bash/Go, and a John of leadership to mentor engineers. Join a growth-oriented company delivering innovative solutions to mission-critical problems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps engineering or software development
• Top Secret clearance (TS/SCI) and US citizenship
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and AWS services (EKS, EC2, S3)
• Proficient with Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD, Linux administration
• Programming in Python, Bash, or Go; Git and Flux familiarity
• Excellent communication and Agile methodologies understanding
• Experience as a tech lead, mentor, or engineering team manager
• Willingness to work onsite in San Antonio, TX 5 days a week

Responsibilities

• Support cloud infrastructure in AWS, especially EKS
• Deploy on-premise and portable edge infrastructure
• Automate deployment processes for reliability and scalability
• Manage Kubernetes containers and AWS infrastructure
• Collaborate with developers to integrate applications
• Monitor production systems and troubleshoot issues
• Improve processes for high availability and performance
• Stay updated with new technologies and industry trends
• Mentor and guide team members as a senior contributor
• Other duties as assigned
