Job summary

ANSER seeks a Financial & Resource Management Budget Analyst to support the Office of the Assistant Secretary of War for Nuclear Deterrence, Chemical, and Biological Defense. You will provide budgetary, programmatic, financial and resource management support to oversee and integrate resources.

This role offers a hybrid schedule with 3-4 days onsite at the Mark Center in Alexandria, VA and 1-2 days remote, collaborating with GO/FO/SES level personnel and utilizing WDP/DAI tools to drive budgeting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
• Masters degree may substitute for 3 years of experience.
• 8+ years of budget and financial analysis experience.
• Experience with DoW budget documents and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support PPBE process and budget exhibits development.
• Oversee allocation of resources and strategic funding alignment.
• Draft and justify budget language for RDT&E, Procurement, and O&M.
• Analyze financial and programmatic data to identify improvements.
• Provide assessments to the OASW(NDCBD) for resourcing requests.
• Plan and manage execution of budgetary resources.
• Develop analytical products using WDP and DAI.
• Input resource data into WHS, CAPE, and CAPT databases as needed.
• Prepare budget briefing materials for OMB and senior staff.
• Maintain knowledge of DoW/FMR regulations.
