An established industry player is seeking an Electrical Repairman to join their Power Operations team. This role involves the installation, repair, and overhaul of electrical systems in fossil fuel plants, ensuring safety and efficiency while working with various electrical equipment. Our mission is to power the quality of life for our 1.2 million electric and 132,000 natural gas customers across 64 counties and over 500 communities in central and eastern Missouri, including the greater St. Louis area.
Organization Unit: Power Operations, Power Plants
Applicable To: Fossil Fuel Plants, Osage, Keokuk
Coordinate with dispatchers, plant operations, maintenance, and storeroom personnel.
Subject to extreme temperatures, noise, dust, fumes, odors, drafts, and weather conditions. Work may involve cramped spaces, artificial lighting, and working at heights.
Potential electrical shocks, burns, flashes, falls, and exposure to noxious fumes in confined spaces. Adherence to safety protocols is mandatory.
Meet standards established in the Apprenticeship Program or as per the Promotion Agreement. Must be accurate, steady, calm in emergencies, physically capable, and have normal color vision.
