Job summary

Northern Credit Union in Watertown, NY is seeking a Member Relationship Specialist to deliver an exceptional member experience and provide personalized financial solutions. You will assist members with unsecured lending, guide them through applications, and open general membership and business accounts while mentoring teammates.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree preferred; 2+ years in the financial industry required.
• Certified Financial Counselor designation required or to be obtained within 18 months.
• Notary Public commission required or must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
• High-energy, self-motivated, able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with PC-based software including Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM 360.

Responsibilities

• Provide trusted advice and exceptional member service.
• Open, close business and general membership accounts; process transactions.
• Assist unsecured lending, explain terms, and guide applications to closing.
• Mentor team members and support development of new accounts.
