Job summary

EverAI is seeking a Trust & Safety Product Manager to own safety delivery across our platforms. You will turn safety requirements into product features and moderations capabilities, working with Compliance, Engineering, AI/ML, Product, and Customer Support to identify risks early and implement safeguards.

This newly created role reports to the CTO and Safety Lead, with significant ownership from day one as the company grows.

Qualifications

• Ability to translate safety policies and legal requirements into product requirements, acceptance criteria and engineering tasks.
• Experience with content moderation and AI guardrails, including automation and human review dynamics.
• Collaboration across engineering, legal, operations and support to align safety with product strategy.

Responsibilities

• Translate safety policies, legal requirements and user feedback into clear product requirements, acceptance criteria, and engineering work.
• Own the product side of improvements to in-house moderation systems, including EverGuard; collaborate with Engineering and AI/ML teams on detection, rules and interventions.
• Lead the technical and product lifecycle of third-party safety partnerships from evaluation to rollout and ongoing performance management.
• Establish dashboards and a recurring QA to monitor safety metrics and prevent harmful content.
• Own red-teaming and adversarial testing for moderation systems and safeguards, with remediation and retesting.
• Run trust & safety reviews for new features with proportionate reviews for model changes and integrations.
• Coordinate the product and engineering response to significant safety incidents and drive continuous improvement.
