Job summary

First National Bank of Omaha is seeking a Senior Manager for Trust Services & Operations to oversee day-to-day trust and wealth operations, onboarding, reporting, and governance. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field is required or equivalent experience.
• 7–10 years of experience in trust operations, fiduciary services, or related field.
• 3–5 years of people management experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading operational teams and driving performance improvements.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance requirements in a trust environment.
• Desired Certified Trust Operations Professional (CTOP) or similar certification.
• Experience with trust accounting systems (e.g., FIS, Fidelity).
• Previous experience in a bank trust department or wealth management organization.
• Knowledge of investment operations and portfolio accounting.
• Experience managing through regulatory examinations and audits.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day trust and wealth operations including account administration, asset management, onboarding and fiduciary reporting.
• Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and workflows for efficient trust administration.
• Monitor service delivery standards and ensure timely completion of trust activities including account transactions, tax reporting, deposits and distributions.
• Manage trust accounting processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting for fiduciary accounts.
• Lead initiatives to improve operational efficiency, reduce risk, and enhance client service delivery.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for trust operations and analyze performance data.
• Prepare regular reports on operational performance and service levels for senior leadership.
• Implement quality assurance programs to ensure accuracy and completeness of trust administration.
• Track and report on regulatory examinations findings and remediation efforts.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to team members.
• Conduct regular one-on-one and team meetings to ensure alignment and communication.
• Manage workload distribution and resources to meet growth.
• Collaborate with Wealth Advisors, Trust Officers, and Relationship Managers to deliver client service.
• Partner with Legal, Compliance, First Line Risk, and Audit on fiduciary matters.
• Approve operational procedures and workflow changes; make decisions on resource allocation and vendor selections.
