TravelCenters of America is seeking a Truck Service Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in marketing and operations for the Truck Service department. You will guide technicians through troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing heavy duty trucks and trailers in a professional, customer-focused environment.

The role requires leadership, hands-on coaching, and a commitment to safety, revenue, and guest satisfaction across 280+ locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Supervisory experience in truck service or related business preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the Truck Service team to meet performance standards.
• Coach and manage staff according to company policy.
• Recruit, hire, train and retain high-quality team members.
• Assist technicians in troubleshooting and repairing heavy duty trucks and trailers.
• Ensure products and services are available through visual inspections.
• Help achieve revenue and profit objectives while following safety standards.
