TravelCenters of America is seeking a Truck Service Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in marketing and operations of the Truck Service department. You will lead technicians, troubleshoot heavy-duty trucks, and ensure services are delivered professionally while pursuing profitability.

The role emphasizes coaching, recruitment, training, and maintaining strong communication with other managers; flexible hours and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; higher degree preferred.
• Supervisory experience in C-store, truck service or travel center preferred.
• Knowledge of Truck Service business preferred; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the team to meet performance standards and deliver fast, friendly service.
• Coach and performance manage staff; recruit, train and retain qualified members.
• Lead technicians through troubleshooting, diagnosing and repair of heavy trucks and trailers.
• Conduct inspections to ensure availability of products and services.
• Help drive revenue and profits through effective people, product, service and facility management.
• Adhere to safety standards and vendor relationship guidelines.
