Job summary

TravelCenters of America seeks a Truck Service Advisor to deliver first-rate service to customers, write and process work orders, and manage OTC transactions. You’ll use product knowledge to suggest services and coordinate parts delivery while maintaining clean, safe service areas.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, strong communication skills, and a professional appearance. Flexible hours including nights, weekends, and some holidays are expected.

Qualifications

• Previous cashier and customer service experience; repair or parts shop experience preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Presents self in a professional manner to customers, management, and coworkers.
• Strong suggestive selling skills.

Responsibilities

• Write, detail, and process (pay out) Work Orders and OTC transactions; Properly write up an ETA Work Order; Secure Purchase Orders, Prepare and communicate quotes to customer.
• Source parts from outside vendors and coordinate delivery.
• Prepare end of shift drop and shift report; Understand various payment types.
• Ensure the cleanliness of service counters, showroom, and customer restrooms.
• Maintain the safety of both our customers and team members.
