Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Truck Service Advisor to join our TA Truck Service team. You will write work orders, process OTC transactions, and ensure accurate quotes while maintaining a high standard of customer service.

You will source parts, prepare and communicate quotes, and coordinate with vendors. The role requires strong sales skills, basic computer proficiency, and a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and some holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous cashier and customer service experience; repair or parts shop experience preferred.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Strong suggestive selling skills.
• Basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Write, detail, and process Work Orders and OTC transactions.
• Prepare ETA Work Orders and secure Purchase Orders.
• Coordinate parts sourcing from outside vendors and communicate quotes to customers.
• Prepare end-of-shift drop and shift reports; manage payment types.
• Maintain clean service counters and customer restrooms; ensure safety of staff and customers.
