Job summary

TravelCenters of America is hiring a Truck Service Advisor to provide first-rate service, write work orders, and handle OTC transactions. You will leverage product knowledge to assist customers and drive sales while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include sourcing parts, preparing quotes, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining shop and counter cleanliness. A valid driver’s license and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous cashier and customer service experience.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Strong suggestive selling abilities.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Write, detail, and process Work Orders and OTC transactions.
• Secure Purchase Orders and communicate quotes to customers.
• Source parts from outside vendors and coordinate delivery.
• Prepare end-of-shift reports and understand payment types.
• Maintain clean service counters, showroom, and restrooms.
• Ensure safety of customers and team members.
