Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Truck Service Advisor to provide exceptional customer service and support at our locations. You will write work orders, process OTC transactions, and coordinate quotes and purchase orders while maintaining professional interactions with customers and teammates.

You will also source parts, prepare shift reports, and ensure clean, safe service counters and work areas, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous cashier and customer service experience.
• Experience in repair or parts shop preferred.
• Presents self in a professional manner to customers, management, and coworkers.
• Strong suggestive selling skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays.
• A valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Write, detail, and process (pay out) Work Orders and OTC transactions; Properly write up an ETA Work Order; Secure Purchase Orders, Prepare and communicate quotes to customer.
• Source parts from outside vendors and coordinate delivery.
• Prepare end of shift drop and shift report; Understand various payment types.
• Ensure the cleanliness of service counters, showroom, and customer restrooms.
• Maintain the safety of both our customers and team members.
• Provide first-rate service to customers with extensive knowledge of products and services.
