Job summary

TravelCenters of America, a nationwide network of travel centers, is seeking a Truck Service Advisor to provide outstanding customer service, write and process Work Orders and OTC transactions, and coordinate parts sourcing and quotes for customers across TA Truck Service locations.

You'll work in a fast-paced environment, maintain safety standards, and develop your skills with company-paid training and benefits packages designed to support you and your family.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous cashier and customer service experience; repair or parts shop experience preferred.
• Presents self professionally and shows strong suggestive selling ability.
• Basic computer skills and a valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Write, detail, and process Work Orders and OTC transactions; prepare ETA Work Orders and quotes.
• Secure Purchase Orders; coordinate parts from outside vendors and arrange delivery.
• Prepare end of shift drop and shift report; understand various payment types.
• Maintain cleanliness of service counters and customer areas; ensure safety.
• Support growth through accurate upselling and excellent customer service.
