Job summary

Wheels, Inc in the United States is seeking a Truck Service Advisor to manage maintenance repairs on cars and medium/heavy duty trucks for our clients. You will negotiate with vendors on repair procedures, pricing, and downtime, ensuring client instructions and approval parameters are followed.

The role requires ASE certifications, 2–4 years of automotive/truck experience, and the ability to authorize repairs, manage authorizations, and document savings.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications required: C1 and 6 of 14 auto or truck certifications (at least 2 must be truck).
• 2–4 years automotive and truck experience or equivalent technical education.
• High school diploma required; some college preferred.
• Fleet industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Authorize mechanical repairs on behalf of Wheels’ clients.
• Negotiate repair costs to the published fleet price or the pre‑negotiated Wheels Network rates & times.
• Manage client authorizations, limits, and instructions.
• Document client savings and accurately record transactions in the activity log.
• Escalate client approvals to team lead or mentor when required.
• Meet key performance indicators on quality & transactional performance.
