Job summary

Summit Truck Group in Topeka, KS is seeking a Service Advisor to interview customers, document symptoms, and coordinate repairs with the service supervisor while ensuring accurate data entry and timely updates.

The successful candidate will have 1–3 years in trucking, a commercial driver's license, and strong communication skills; warranty clerk experience is a plus. We offer a competitive salary, benefits, and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

Highly detail-oriented.
Ability to function in a fast paced customer focused environment.
Strong written/verbal communications skills.
Knowledge of truck specifications.
Warranty Clerk experience highly preferred.
1-3 years of experience in the trucking/transportation industry.
Commercial valid driver’s license and clear driving record.

Responsibilities

Interview customers about issues with their vehicle, get information from the vehicle and enter into the business system.
Communicate with the service supervisor about incoming jobs.
Coordinate job status and quotes with customers.
Invoice customer pay tickets and prepare warranty repairs.
Open the building and parking lot in the morning and close both in the evenings.
Maintains safe and secure environment by following safety and security standards and procedures; complying with codes.
As other duties assigned by manager.
