Coffee Cup Travel Plazas is seeking a friendly, energetic Truck Service Advisor to join our Summit, SD location. You will manage customer interactions, explain repairs and costs, and coordinate service for trucks.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate clearly.
• Proficiency with computers and point-of-sale systems.
• Understanding of the trucking industry is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact between customers and service technicians, explaining inspection results, repair recommendations, and costs.
• Write, detail, and process work orders, including securing purchase orders, preparing quotes, and accurately recording the customer's concerns.
• Use strong suggestive selling skills to identify and offer additional services to customers.
• Handle over-the-counter (OTC) transactions and understand various payment types.
• Source parts from outside vendors and coordinate their delivery for repairs.
• Prepare end-of-shift reports and ensure the cleanliness of service counters and the showroom.
