Job summary

Premier Truck Group is seeking a Service Advisor to greet customers, handle service calls, prepare quotes, and manage repair orders in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating technicians, upselling opportunities, and ensuring quality control from intake to completion. A high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license are required, with 2 years in a customer service/vehicle setting preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service relations and vehicle environment preferred, but not mandatory.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers entering the service department for all service needs.
• Answer and route service department calls about repairs, scheduling, costs, and completion dates.
• Assist in preparing quotes for repair work and write service orders after customer approval.
• Open and close repair orders as needed during busy times.
• Assist Shop Supervisor with assigning technicians and monitoring progress; keep customers informed.
• Identify upsell opportunities with customers and communicate to the team.
• Report customer complaints to the Service Manager or Assistant Service Manager.
• Inspect departing jobs for quality and cleanliness.
• Finalize paperwork on completion and end of shift; verify cash schedules daily.
• Provide daily relief for Shop Supervisor vacations and absences.
• Promote safe work practices and maintain good housekeeping.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
