Job summary

Knight Transportation, Inc. is seeking passionate CDL-A Truck Drivers to become training mentors for new CDL-A drivers. You will pass on expertise and mentor the next generation while earning competitive pay and bonuses.

Trainers receive mileage-based pay, extra weekly pay when a student is aboard, and a matching bonus tied to trainee performance during the first 12 months. Medical, retirement, and life benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with valid Class A license.
• 6 months of Class A experience within the last year or 1 year in the last 5 years.
• No more than 1 preventable accident in 2 years and no major accident in 5 years.
• DOT physical and drug tests required.

Responsibilities

• Train new CDL-A drivers and mentor them during onboarding.
• Earn top earnings through mileage and student miles training.
• Participate in a trainer bonus program tied to production and trainee performance.

We are looking for passionate CDL-A Truck Drivers to become training mentors for new CDL-A drivers. Pass the torch and help develop the next generation of truck drivers while being financially rewarded for your time.

• $102,300 average annual earnings for top performing trainers
• $1,950 average weekly earnings for top performing trainers
• Trainers are compensated for both their miles and their student’s miles while training
• $200 weekly pay for having a student on the truck on top of milage pay
• Trainers earn a matching bonus for all production & safety bonuses their graduated trainees earn in their first 12 months of employment
