Job summary

Knight Transportation, Inc. is seeking passionate CDL-A Truck Drivers to become training mentors for new CDL-A drivers.

You will pass the torch and help develop the next generation of truck drivers while being financially rewarded for your time. As a top performing trainer, you can earn substantial pay: $115,000 average annual earnings and about $2,200 per week for trainers, with additional mileage-based incentives and a weekly $200 for having a student on board.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older and hold a valid Class A license.
• 6 months of Class A experience within the last year or 1 year within the last 5 years.
• No more than 1 preventable accident in the past 2 years; no major accident in 5 years.
• Pass DOT physical and drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and train new CDL-A drivers to become proficient trainers themselves.
• Earns trainer pay and bonuses based on training production and safety metrics.
