Job summary

Knight Transportation, Inc. is seeking CDL-A drivers to become training mentors for new CDL-A drivers. You will share expertise, mentor newer drivers, and be financially rewarded for your time as you help develop the next generation of truck drivers.

Top trainers can earn substantial pay with average earnings highlighted for mentors, including weekly and annual figures, and bonuses tied to trainee performance and safety results. Training miles accompany mileage compensation.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid Class A license
• 6 months of Class A experience within the last year or 1 year of Class A experience within the last 5 years
• No more than 1 preventable accident in the past 2 years, no major accident within 5 years
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug tests
• Additional Trainer Qualifications: Minimum of 30 days with Knight
• Must have at least 60,000 Miles solo & 1 winter season driving OTR

We are looking for passionate CDL-A Truck Drivers to become training mentors for new CDL-A drivers. Pass the torch and help develop the next generation of truck drivers while being financially rewarded for your time.

• $116,000 average annual earnings for top performing trainers
• $2,200 average weekly earnings for top performing trainers
• Trainers are compensated for both their miles and their student’s miles while training
• $200 weekly pay for having a student on the truck on top of milage pay
• Trainers earn a matching bonus for all production & safety bonuses their graduated trainees earn in their first 12 months of employment
