XPO in Illinois is hiring a Truck Driver Student. You will train to obtain a CDL-A and gain on-the-job experience as an LTL driver under supervision. You will perform inspections, keep records, and handle freight with a forklift when needed.

Formación

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• 1 year of related experience required.
• Hold a valid state-issued driver's license for at least 12 months.
• Obtain a CDL-A permit by the first day of class with required endorsements within 90 days.
• Initiate TSA fingerprint-based background check early in training.
• Maintain a safe driving record and comply with DOT requirements.
• Pass a company-paid DOT physical and pre-hire test.

Responsabilidades

• Attend CDL-A training sessions to earn a CDL-A.
• Gain on-the-job experience as an LTL Driver under supervision.
• Perform vehicle inspections per FMCSR 396.13.
• Maintain records per FMCSR, DOT and company policies.
• Load/unload freight with forklift as needed.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
• Follow safety policies and coordinate with service centers.
