XPO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Truck Driver Student in Des Moines, IA. The role provides hands-on training to obtain a CDL-A while gaining LTL driving experience. You will work under supervision to perform essential inspections, documentation, and safety procedures.

Qualifikationen

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• 1 year of related experience.
• Hold a valid state-issued driver's license for a minimum of 12 months.
• Attain a CDL-A permit by day one and endorsements within 90 days: double/triple trailers, tanker and HAZMAT.
• Initiate TSA fingerprint background check by week 2.
• Safe driving record and history.
• Pass a DOT drug test with no positives in 3 years.
• Pass company-paid DOT physical and pre-hire test; perform essential functions.
• Available to work days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Aufgaben

• Attend CDL-A training sessions.
• Gain on-the-job experience as an LTL Driver.
• Perform FMCSR vehicle inspections.
• Maintain FMCSR, DOT and company records.
• Load and unload freight using a forklift as needed.
• Complete required documentation and reports.
• Adhere to company safety policies.
