Job summary

XPO Logistics, Inc. in Kenosha, WI, is seeking a Truck Driver Student to train toward a CDL-A and begin hands-on experience as an LTL driver.

You will work under supervision, performing essential vehicle inspections and documentation to ensure FMCSR compliance. This role offers pay starting at $24.37 per hour, full health insurance on day one, life and disability coverage, PTO, paid holidays, 401(k) with company match, and education assistance, supporting a pathway into a professional driving

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• 1 year of related experience.
• Hold a valid state-issued driver's license for at least 12 months.
• CDL-A permit by first day of class; endorsements within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Attend CDL-A training sessions.
• Gain on-the-job experience as an LTL Driver.
• Perform vehicle inspections per FMCSR 396.13.
• Maintain records per FMCSR, DOT and company policies.
• Load/unload freight with forklift as needed.
• Verify and complete required documentation and reports.
• Adhere to company safety policies.
• Communicate with service center in a fast-paced environment.
