Job summary

XPO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Truck Driver Student in the United States to train as an LTL driver. You’ll attend CDL-A training sessions, gain on-the-job experience, and perform required inspections under FMCSR.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• One year of related experience.
• Valid state driver's license for 12+ months.
• CDL-A permit with endorsements within 90 days.
• Initiate TSA background check by week two.
• Safe driving record.
• Pass DOT drug test with no positive tests in 3 years.
• Pass company pre-hire physical and tests.
• Able to work day/evening/night/weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Attend CDL-A training sessions.
• Gain on-the-job experience as an LTL Driver.
• Under supervision, perform FMCSR vehicle inspections.
• Maintain records by FMCSR, DOT and company policies.
• Load and unload freight using a forklift as needed.
• Verify and complete required documentation and reports.
• Adhere to company safety policies.
• Maintain contact with service center personnel in a fast-paced environment.
