Job summary

The Simplot Company is seeking a Truck Driver/Operations Support in Monroe, IN to deliver fertilizer and chemicals, blend products, and maintain equipment while upholding safety standards. This full-time role offers seasonal overtime and clear home-time expectations.

Candidates should have a Class A CDL with HazMat/Tanker endorsements (or be willing to obtain within six months), the ability to operate a manual transmission, and at least one year of related experience.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required with HazMat & Tanker endorsements preferred or willing to obtain within 6 months.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission and heavy equipment.
• 1+ years of related experience in agriculture or equipment operation.
• High school diploma or GED and basic computer skills.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Delivering and applying fertilizer and chemicals to farms.
• Blending fertilizer and calibrating application equipment.
• Communicating effectively with customers.
• Performing vehicle and equipment maintenance (including welding, pump/engine overhauls).
• Ensuring compliance with DOT, OSHA, and HazMat regulations.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds or more as part of daily tasks.

What You’ll Do

As an Operations Support employee, you’ll play a key role in delivering products and services to our customers while maintaining equipment and facilities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Delivering and applying fertilizer and chemicals to farms.
• Communicating effectively with customers.
• Blending fertilizer and calibrating application equipment.
• Performing vehicle and equipment maintenance (including welding, pump/engine overhauls).
• Ensuring compliance with DOT, OSHA, and HazMat regulations.

What You Bring

• Class A CDL required.
