Job summary

The Simplot Company in Pocomoke City, MD is seeking a Truck Driver/Operations Support 3 to join our field logistics team. You will deliver and apply fertilizer and chemicals, calibrate equipment, and perform vehicle maintenance while ensuring DOT/OSHA/HazMat compliance.

Requires a Class A CDL, HazMat/Tanker endorsements preferred (or willing to obtain), TWIC preferred (or willing), and 1+ year of related experience. Competitive pay, benefits, and growth opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• HazMat & Tanker endorsements preferred (or willing to obtain within 6 months).
• TWIC card preferred (or willing to obtain within 6 months).
• Ability to operate a manual transmission required.
• 1+ years of related experience (agriculture or equipment operation preferred).
• Ability to operate heavy equipment (sprayers, semi-trucks, trailers).
• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, mobile apps).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Delivering and applying fertilizer and chemicals to farms.
• Communicating effectively with customers.
• Blending fertilizer and calibrating application equipment.
• Performing vehicle and equipment maintenance (including welding, pump/engine overhauls).

What You'll Do

As an Operations Support employee, you’ll play a key role in delivering products and services to our customers while maintaining equipment and facilities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
