Job summary

Simplot Company in Peru, IN is seeking a Truck Driver/Operations Support 3 to deliver fertilizer and chemicals, maintain equipment, and support field operations. This is a full-time role with seasonal overtime and home every night.

You will blend fertilizer, calibrate equipment, ensure DOT/OSHA/HazMat compliance, and communicate clearly with customers while using basic office tools.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• 1+ years of related experience (agriculture or equipment operation preferred).
• Ability to operate heavy equipment (sprayers, semi-trucks, trailers).
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Delivering fertilizer and chemicals to farms.
• Communicating effectively with customers.
• Blending fertilizer and calibrating application equipment.
• Performing vehicle and equipment maintenance.
• Ensuring compliance with DOT, OSHA, and HazMat regulations.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds or more as part of daily tasks.
• Assisting with projects, attending training sessions, and other miscellaneous location needs.

What You'll Do

As an Operations Support employee, you’ll play a key role in delivering products and services to our customers while maintaining equipment and facilities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
