Job summary

The Simplot Company in Logansport, IN is seeking a Truck Driver/Operations Support. The role combines driving duties with on-site operations support to deliver fertilizers and related products, while maintaining equipment and ensuring safety compliance.

Qualified applicants will have a Class A CDL with HazMat, Tanker, and Air Brakes endorsements, plus 1+ years of relevant experience. Strong communication and basic computer skills are essential for daily customer interactions.

What You'll Do

As an Operations Support employee, you’ll play a key role in delivering products and services to our customers while maintaining equipment and facilities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Delivering fertilizer and chemicals to farms.
• Communicating effectively with customers.
• Performing vehicle and equipment maintenance (including welding, pump/engine repair).
• Ensuring compliance with DOT, OSHA, and HazMat regulations.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds or more as part of daily tasks.

What You Bring

• Class A CDL required.
• HazMat, Tanker, and Air Brakes endorsements required.
• 1+ years of related experience (agriculture or equipment operation preferred).
• Ability to operate heavy equipment (sprayers, semi-trucks, trailers).
• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, mobile apps).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
