Job summary

Simplot Company in Monroe, IN seeks an Operations Support professional to deliver and apply fertilizer and chemicals, blend products, and maintain equipment. You’ll interact with customers, ensure safety compliance, and support DOT/OSHA/HazMat standards while handling heavy equipment and occasional lifting.

Requirements include a Class A CDL, ability to operate manual transmissions, 1+ years in agriculture or equipment operation, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A required or equivalent.
• HazMat & Tanker endorsements preferred or obtainable within 6 months.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission.
• 1+ years of related experience in agriculture or equipment operation.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment (sprayers, semi-trucks, trailers).
• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, mobile apps).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Delivering and applying fertilizer and chemicals to farms.
• Communicate effectively with customers.
• Blend fertilizer and calibrate application equipment.
• Perform vehicle and equipment maintenance (including welding, pump/engine overhauls).
• Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and HazMat regulations.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds or more as part of daily tasks.

What You’ll Do

As an Operations Support employee, you’ll play a key role in delivering products and services to our customers while maintaining equipment and facilities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Delivering and applying fertilizer and chemicals to farms.
