Job summary

Simplot Company is seeking a Truck Driver/Operations Support in Town Creek, AL to deliver and apply fertilizer and chemicals, blending and calibrating equipment, and performing maintenance. You will communicate with customers and operate heavy equipment on a daily basis.

The role requires a Class A CDL and may require HazMat/Tanker endorsements (or willingness to obtain within 6 months). A high school diploma or GED is required, with strong safety awareness and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A required.
• HazMat & Tanker endorsements preferred or willing to obtain within 6 months.
• 1+ years of related experience (agriculture or equipment operation preferred).
• Ability to operate heavy equipment (sprayers, semi-trucks, trailers).
• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, mobile apps).

Responsibilities

• Delivering and applying fertilizer and chemicals to farms.
• Communicating effectively with customers.
• Blending fertilizer and calibrating application equipment.
• Performing vehicle and equipment maintenance (including welding, pump/engine overhauls).
• Ensuring compliance with DOT, OSHA, and HazMat regulations.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds or more as part of daily tasks.

What You'll Do

As an Operations Support employee, you’ll play a key role in delivering products and services to our customers while maintaining equipment and facilities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Delivering and applying fertilizer and chemicals to farms.
• Communicating effectively with customers.
