Job summary

The Simplot Company in Graettinger, IA is seeking a Truck Driver/Operations Support to join a diverse, agriculture-focused team. You will deliver fertilizer and chemicals, operate and maintain equipment, and help keep our fleet compliant with DOT, OSHA and HazMat rules.

This full-time role includes driving interstate, communicating with customers, performing blending and calibration, and handling basic computer tasks.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• Eligible to operate commercial vehicles in interstate commerce.
• 1+ years of related experience.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment (sprayers, semi-trucks, trailers).
• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Delivering fertilizer and chemicals to farms.
• Communicating effectively with customers.
• Blending fertilizer and calibrating application equipment.
• Performing vehicle and equipment maintenance (including welding, pump/engine overhauls).
• Ensuring compliance with DOT, OSHA, and HazMat regulations.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds or more as part of daily tasks.

What You'll Do

As an Operations Support employee, you'll play a key role in delivering products and services to our customers while maintaining equipment and facilities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Delivering fertilizer and chemicals to farms.
• Communicating effectively with customers.
• Blending fertilizer and calibrating application equipment.
• Performing vehicle and equipment maintenance (including welding, pump/engine overhauls).
• Ensuring compliance with DOT, OSHA, and HazMat regulations.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds or more as part of daily tasks.

What You Bring

• Class A CDL required.

Must be eligible and qualified to operate commercial vehicles in interstate commerce (across state lines).

• 1+ years of related experience (agriculture or equipment operation preferred).
• Ability to operate heavy equipment (sprayers, semi-trucks, trailers).
• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, mobile apps).
