Job summary

Bruceton Petroleum is seeking a Truck Driver responsible for delivering fuel oil, gasoline, and LPG using a tank truck. The role requires a valid CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements and a strong commitment to safety and DOT regulations.

You will perform loading/unloading, complete paperwork, and conduct routine vehicle inspections. The ideal candidate will be physically able to lift up to 75 lbs, climb up to 15 ft, and operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety

Qualifications

• CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsement required.
• 21+ years old.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and climb up to 15 ft.
• Knowledge of DOT regs for CMV operation and hazmat response.

Responsibilities

• Drive tank truck to deliver gasoline, fuel oil, or LPG to customers at assigned locations.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
• Operate pumps, read gauges, and record quantities loaded/delivered; issue tickets.
• Complete required shipping, hours-of-service, and related paperwork.
• Maintain bulk plant and perform light truck maintenance as needed.

Job Title: Truck DriverReporting Relationship: Reports to – Director of OperationsBasic Function:A driver is primarily responsible for delivering fuel oil, gasoline, LP etc. in a safe and efficient manner to various locations as assigned by his/her manager.Essential Functions:Drives tank truck to deliver gasoline, fuel oil, or liquefied petroleum gas to customers: Drives truck into position to load at filling rack.Perform pre and post trip visual inspections of vehicle to determine road worthiness;Opens valves or starts pumps to fill tank.Reads gauges or meters and records quantity loaded.Records amount delivered and issues ticket to customer.Perform daily maintenance of bulk plant; light maintenance on trucks (washing, etc.)Complete required paperwork such as shipping papers, hours of duty reports, etc.Have working knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations regarding operating a commercial motor vehicle, transporting hazardous material and how to respond to an emergency;Qualifications:a. 21 years of age; andb.
